Nice route with woods, lakes, snow and views
Took this route to the summit. Very windy but at the summit are some rock enclosures that shelter you from the wind. Signed the summit registry. Good hike with the old man.

Wheeler Peak
Joined the Standard route from the Lehman Creek and then Alpine Lakes Loop Trails.

Burly
An exhausting ascent in soft snow. Lots of post-holing even while wearing snowshoes. Wind on the ridgeline was fierce. Summit log indicated only one other winter ascent since November 2014. Views at the top were absolutely spectacular.

First Snow
Beautiful hike just after the first snow of the year. Made it to the summit with my kids, my buddy, and his kids.
