Star Scree Basin

From Star Lake you want to head for this scree basin if you are taking the easiest route up the mtn. A discernable track goes steeply up through the scree towards the pass shown here. At the pass, it hooks left and behind onto the other side of the ridge as it slowly makes its way towards the peak. I wouldn't call it firm footing, this is a climber's trail on scree, but it is hard packed enough that it is worth following the path at least on the way up.
