| A classic from my pre-New Hampshire days. Fun diversion from the D.C. area. I remember the Sunrise Trail well. It was good practice for later scrambles and hikes. | |

| I have lived in Montgomery County, Maryland since the Summer of 1997 and have climbed Sugarloaf Mountain many times, winter, spring, summer and fall. I have summited many times, mostly by myself, but also with my kids when they were as young as 5. It has become a very special place of solitude for me, as well as a great place to train for some of the larger peaks I have climbed. | |
