Sugarloaf  Sucess!

If you want to do the Standard route, find a partner that is comfortable with long run outs. Ended up spending the night on the summit with just shorts and a t shirt. Very cold and exposed.

North Face Route  Sucess!

Climbed Sugarloaf via North Face Route. Led all 10+ pitches. Pretty runout. Some parts of the route felt harder than suggested 5.6 (old school) rating. Excellent rock, beautiful views - classic route!

Re: Go Here!

I did Sugar Loaf Peak (Pao de Asucar) in Rio de Janiero. It was a much easier climb and there's a good restaurant and bar in its summit. That's my kind of climbing at my age.

The Organs Never Cease to Amaze  Sucess!

LOST: small bits of ego along this route. Weeds19 and I had a fine adventure finagling this route. This Mountain definitely provided some 'intriguing' route-finding and exposing leads (hats off to Weeds here). P.S. I'd go with the 60meter rope.

Long Day  Sucess!

We climbed the Normal Route and though it's rated a medium 4th class route, I wouldn't want to be on it without ropes and gear. I've climbed some 5.5 routes that were easier than this route. Great day in the mountains! 14hrs car to car
