Summit flowers

Summit flowers

Tucked between a couple boulders was this floral treasure. Too pretty to pass up, even with the thunder booming, I had to take this pic. I don't know what kind of flowers they are but perhaps someone seeing this pic will know. 7-6-08

it would be a greater treasure if it smelled better, but I guess if one needs flies to pollinate, then...

Thanks for the name of this one. I didn't get close enough to smell as we were quickstepping down from the summit due to incoming weather.
