this sign was put up there on the summit during a political demonstration of a conservative german party in South Tyrol in 2002. In delimitation to the Italian name of the mountain it states that the mountain would be in the "middle of Tyrol" - which is of course nonsense as the northern half of the mountain belongs to the Austrian state of Salzburg!
