Climbers starting the Sun Ribbon Arete route. The two climbers in upper circle are the base of pitch 1 proper (a 5.7 corner acc. to Supertopo); climber below is scrambling the class 3 slabs above the snow field. Note that this late in the season (September 5), all snow travel could be avoided in reaching Sun Ribbon (NOT Moon Goddess or Venusian Blind however).
