I had forgotten the name of this route,I also did it back in July of 1985.We headed out of Camp Muir in high winds and marginal weather with the hope it would improve. Everyone bailed except one other party. Low and behold 3 hours later it was sunny and calm. It usually never wind up that way in the Cascades.Nice to see a young guy like yourself getting into the mountains. Seems like a couple of trips ago I was the same age.
