I hiked 3 1/2 hours in the dark, including breaking trail through 10-15" of powder for a couple hours, to catch the sunrise from West Granite Mountain. This was my reward. It only lasted maybe 20 minutes, but it was a stunning sunrise! Alpine Lakes Wilderness, WA. 2-25-17

Best Granite Mountain photo

This is the best granite mountain photo that I've seen. Thanks for the reminder that waking up super early is well worth it.
