Surfing the white waves of Cvrsnica
Plocno (2228m), highest peak of Cvrsnica massif, towers high above the beautiful white 'dunes' of the vast undulating plateau.
North of main Cvrsnica ridge there is vast undulating karst plateau, strewn with karst depressions and funnel shaped holes. Whole area is overgrown with dense population of dwarf pine. In winter time all of that is under snow and only challenge is to find a line that won't force you to go into one of numerous depressions and loose altitude. This route in winter is only for the people who know what they are doing! There are no marks and if weather suddenly changes this area easily becomes a trap. Good orientation skills are essential!
