Svibno and its castle

Today the castle of Svibno is completely ruined. It was very likely built in the 12th century and in its heydays was the seat of Ostrovrhars knights. (ostri vrh = sharp peak). But in the 17th century the castle was abandoned and left to decay. Autumn, 2001.
