| Weather was holding out after climbing some other peaks, so I decided to head up Swan Mountain after lunch. Climbed from the Sapphire Point trailhead. Great views of the reservoir when there were breaks in the trees! | |

| It was a very snowy day with a low, low cloud ceiling. We expected deep snow...what we didn't expect was insanely heavy, dense snow on top of a sugar layer. What was supposed to be an "easy" day, a short snowshoe on a low mountain, turned into a much better workout than anticipated! | |
