Swift Ck Trail returns to the creek at 9,100 el

It does not appear like a skiable terrain in this picture, but in fact on this 5/4/08 trip, we've been able to ski to, and from, this point, by staying on the East-facing slopes. Mike Berry studies the maps as we plan the best spring-ski strategy.
