Tête de Ferret (2714m) and Petit Col Ferret (2490m)
The two Val Ferrets, the Italian and the Swiss, meet at this point, right on the national frontier. The area of the Tête de Ferret and the two cols, the Petit Col Ferret and the Grand Col Ferret (2537m) is very popular for ski tours. Conditions were optimal on this day and there were many hikers on skis to be seen. Photo taken from between La Fouly and Ferret on the Swiss side on January 30th, 2011.
