Several years ago, I climbed Tabby Mountain alone when the road to the top was still blocked by snow. I used to have a friend (with the colorful name of Joe Silver) living in Tabiona and I visited him a few times, which gave me an idea to climb the peak. With Joe and some others we also climbed several of the smaller sub-peaks (hills) of Tabby Mountain known locally as Mohawk and Red Mountains.
This was no challenge since it was a drive up. The key is figuring out which roads to drive and thanks to Eric Willhite's fine page for this mountain, that was made a lot easier due to his map. It is the 85th on the list of Utah's top 100 prominence peaks.
