Tabernacle Dome-- Upper NW Ridge

Steeper than it looks here but not that hard (Class 4 to easy 5). The middle, where it is steepest, is very exposed. Don't use the ledge system you will see on the left; the climbing becomes harder and extremely exposed. Higher up, there are two trees with rappel slings on them. A 60 m rope is not enough for the whole ridge but will serve to get one down the most difficult and exposed section. Zion National Park, UT-- April 2012
