Tanks Peak (CO)

When you come up to this saddle (has cattle tank and in this pic, cattle)you will turn left through the cattle area onto a rough jeep track. If you don't have high clearence & 4WD, park here. The jeep track has a very very rough section that will test your vehicle. I wouldn't take a Subaru up it. The rough section is about a quarter mile of hell but once past it, the road gets better. This is the pic of the road as it goes up the hill. 8-12-09
