I have one (a Chilean Rose to be exact)-they are a gorgeous, and amazing species. Incredible to see one in the wild (I do not recommend anyone to have them as a pet though-unless you are highly educated on their patterns-I suffered a pretty fierce injury to my eye because of being disillusioned on their behavior; let them live in their natural habitat). Glad you didn't step on it-spiders are great for the environment-bleeding heart here :-)
