To the top  Sucess!

Started the Cross Island Track in late morning. Getting to the base is straight forward as this is by far the most common track on the island. Getting to the actual summit is a bit sketchy. The climbing routes starts with a 4th class ledge that wraps around the right side of the pillar. Then there is a 15ft crack section (5.6) which leads to a 60ft chimney section. The top is narrowest, roughly 2ft wide. After the chimney there is a large overgrown ledge. To get to the summit there is still a 12-15ft boulder problem. Two bushy cracks should be climbable if you brought gear and gardening tools. Though the easiest way is climbing the left face though difficult too protect. It starts out steep but gets easier after the first move.
