Teddys Peak, a tune-up for Trinchera.

The nearby summit of Teddys Peak(north along the ridge), can provide an extra summit while in the area for Trinchera. Teddys(12,600) can be reached from Bear LK CG by going north on Indian Creek trail to saddle(meadow) and then bushwacking up over Steep Mt. to a connecting ridge. An alternate route follows a drainage with user trail west from campground waterpump to ridge. Follow right fork of stream as it branches before leaving timber. Image shows Teddys(left) and Steep Mt.
