In the foreground the broad and spectacular ridge connecting Becca d'Aver (2469m) and Cima Longhede (2416m).
In the background, among the many other summits, one can recognize the Emilius group ( with the more distant Grivola peeping out) and, on the right, the Rutor group.
In the lower right corner of the image one can glimpse, near the Lignan village, the building of the Saint-Barthélemy astronomical observatory.
