The Callangate chain in the Cordillera Vilcanota

Seen from the northwest. It's the first day of eight in the Cordillera Vilcanota. Our plan is to hike the circuit and climb Ausangate. At this point I'm still optimistic about the two spare days we have planned for and hope to climb another mountain after Ausangate, and I'm thinking about Callangate. Its highest summit, Collpa Ananta (6110m), is right in the middle. 30 May 2011.
