Re: Williamson is

Yes. Williamson is easily the largest mountain mass in the Sierra. Mt. Tom, 13,652', is also a huge hulk of a mountain west of Bishop.

Elevation update

If the new surveys stand, Mt. Williamson will be listed at 14,403 ft. It will be interesting to see whether Barnard will be a fourteener again... and what about Humphreys? Seems like it's listed now at 13,992 ft. Oh, and Whitney is now listed at 14,505 ft! The only peak in the lower 48 over 14,500.
