"THE EPICENTER"-Mears Glacier and Miners Lake-Chugach Range, AK

This was the "Ground Zero" of the 1964 Great Alaskan Earthquake. Little Miner Lake (on the right), which is close to Meares Glacier, was the Epicerter of the Magnitude 9.1 earthquake.
