The feak mirror of a broken leaf

A Pyrenean oak leaf floated on the water of a fountain in La Granja gardens. La Granja is located below Peñalara and was a Royal Residence of Felipe V in the 18th Century. 19 November 2006.

Robur- you can verify this if it has a slight recurve where the base of the leaf meets the stem.

	Hasn't voted	Well, I think it's not a Quercus robur leaf, it is Quercus pyrenaica. The botanical reference with its good map. This tree is much more wide spread in Spain than its name would suggest.
