Weeping Birch (Betula pendula) and Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris)
Weeping Birch is a deciduous tree with characteristic drooping leaves. Its bark is white, often with black diamond-shaped marks or larger patches at the base.
Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) is an evergreen tree with pretty blue-green needles. The bark is thick, scaly dark grey-brown on the lower trunk, and thin, flaky and orange on the upper trunk and branches.
