My husband and I did Howlock from Tipsoo last September. We stayed away from the pinnacle though as my hubby thought the rotten rock looked scary and he was tired. Still thougha beautiful climb. Nice to see our local mountains on SP.

Thanks! More mountains to come too. I want to get a page up for Thielsen East Peak and also see if there's a route from there up Thielsen's southeast face.
Thanks! It's funny, because I did bring my 7D DSLR with me, but almost never used the thing ... just love that pointlessly beloved added weight and bulk in my bag.
Anyway, everything shot and used within this TR was done on my little Canon G11. That camera is amazing and fit in my cargo pocket the entire trip. I did do a little dodging and burning on a few photos in Adobe Lightroom.
Ha, yeah, problem is as soon as I sold the thing a gig would come up. It's better to keep it on hand and safe. The photo of Isaiah and I was actually shot on a Nikon D200 ... and I believe I hauled my Sunpak flash up with radio slaves - back then I had more camera gear than water or food - I shake my head at such things now. Thanks though!

Beautiful photosSome of those photos are awesome, especially the one of you and Isaiah, I dig the flash. Beautiful work.
I'd love to borrow the 7D if you don't think you'll be using it for a bit, haha.
Best,
Brendan
