Rappin' off the Kong. We made several trips up here in the early 70s and eventually worked out a five pitch 5.11 free climb that has not been repeated as of 2011. The approach involves a solid 10 mile hike and 1000 foot class 3/4 steep gully that is best climbed with snow.
