The Kumbtfels, general view from the Rappenwand

This is a rapproached view of the Kumbtfels (or Wetzsteinfels), which was taken from the Rappenwand, of the summit of the " Nordgrattürmchen " . This rock is, like the Rappenwand, localised on the southern slopes of the Himmelspforte forestian massive (maximal altitude : ~ 460 meters). On the right of this picture, you can see the Mittelschachen massive (altitude of 433 meters) : this one is supporting the very wild and unknown Winterbergfels, which is certainly offering, the best panorama of all the Glasental valley ! The Kumbtfels is easy to reach, to his base and the summital part is composed with three platforms, established in three differents floors. Only the two highest of them, can been reached without any climb. From here, you will discover a magnificient panorama, falling deeply and wildly into the Glasental valley (the Glasfels and the Winterbergfels are visible from the Kumbtfels ! ). The Kumbtfels, I love it too much, because he's very wild and excellently preserved, the site is very quiet and not very frequented ! A good point.
