Right, but for now, for me and my "legs of wood" only the bed exists, after reaching Almanzor in central Spain yesterday's noon, not bad adventure I can assure you ;)

I can't estimate that precisely, but since these are rather highlands all around(did you know that Madrid is the highest located capital city of Europe?) it couldn't have been anything shocking, but in that extreme pace it was really tough!

It wasn't that hot and conditions were very favourable. Great place for hiking, the highest parts of Circo de Gredos remind some High Tatra areas in 100%...great impression.
