The new observation point at Chimney Tops

Last week Great Smoky Mountains National Park reopened the Chimney Tops Trail to a new observation point. As a result of the November 2016 wildfire, the pinnacles will not be accessible - likely for several years. The new observation point is located roughly 0.25 miles below the pinnacles.
