The north ridge of Pacific... | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The north ridge of Pacific Peak as viewed from the summit. Crystal Peak is at the upper right. May 22, 2004. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | Kane | Are you sure that's Crystal Peak | |

Crystal Peak elevation is 13,852 and Pacifics is 13,950; that looks like more than 100-ft. Crystal west slopes are much more rugged as well. I have a map now, and it looks like that is a shot of Pacific's south ridge. Then again I could be wrong. Good job on getting Pacific, I know you had been trying to summit that mountain for a while now. | | Posted May 24, 2004 5:15 pm |

This is actually a very wide-angle shot (two 35mm fields stitched together) which gives it a kind of fish-eye appearance. Thanks! It was a fantastic trip and a wonderfully satisfying mountain! | | Posted May 24, 2004 10:02 pm |
