| Met Kerr at the trailhead at 0600, started hiking at 0615, reached Winter Ridge base at 0800, started climbing at 0830, summit at 1230, return to car at 1530. Blue bird day but still tons of snow. | |

| Made it 55% of the distance to the summit doing all of the difficult climbing after a storm dropped 12-15 inches on the mountain range. We turned around before daylight began to fade. The slog on the way to the base was terrible but aesthetically pleasing. The actually climbing was best done with crampons and ice tools in hand. | |
