View, from the ruines of L'Arp Vieille inf. 2073m, of the southern slope of Petit Mont Blanc 3424m, where Bivacco Rainetto (or Giovane Montagna) 3047m is placed. In the background the Aiguille de Trèlatête east summit 3893m.
On the left the Glacier de la Lex Blanche, towered by the Aiguille des Glaciers 3816m. On the bottom, also the Combal plane (left) and the side moraine of the Miage glacier (right) are visible. (Aug 24th, 2005)
