The steep descent down the west side of Wheeler Peak. We actually went down the left side of the slope which put us on the south end of Williams Lake. This caused a nasty bushwhack around the east bank of the lake which included a couple of class 4 rock moves over the water. The normal route is on the right (north) side of the slope, but there was too much snow for a safe descent.......more snow than this! See more pictures and a trip site
