The Steeples

The Steeples

This ridge in the Hughes Range of the Canadian Rockies is called "The Steeples". It lies to the east of the Rocky Mountain Trench, which (near Cranbrook, BC) divides the Rocky Mountains from the Purcell Mountain Range. At 30 km wide, this is the widest section of the 1600 km (995 mile) long Rocky Mountain Trench. Photo by Laszlo Hulicsko, November 30, 2011 Mount Fisher from the same night:

Nice Video

Did you make that by making a video or having it automatically take a bunch of photographs?

Re: Nice Video

Thanks Josh! It is a sped up video. I think I sped it up around 10x or so... maybe could've used a bit more. I'm still experimenting with the time lapse thing. :) Take care.
