[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Third Flatiron from the Southwest
The Third Flatiron seen from the southwest. The standard line of descent from the summit, which consists of three rappels, is visible in this picture. The first rappel is from the summit to the South Bowl. The second reaches Friday's Folly Ledge, and the third deposits you on the West Bench. In the background, the First Flatiron. In the foreground, left of center, Royal Arch. November 2005.

I have seen "3" from the North but never the south. Thanks for the beta on the descent. It's always good to have photo recon before a trip. :)

Peace,
