The view south from the traverse
The view south from the south end of the Stoney Indian Peaks traverse before we dropped back down to Stoney Indian Pass. The large lake is Sue Lake, and the peak behind is Mt. Kipp. August 17, 2008.

Incredible photo of the peaks along the Continental Divide as well. In the distance far back is Mount Gould, Swiftcurrent Mountain, Iceberg Mount Merrit also is in this photo. Incredible perspective here.

Thanks for the IDs. I have far too little experience in GNP to recognize most of the peaks.

I was up there 27 tmes this year climbing peaks so I know a lot of them intimately. I am hoping to do the treverse from Kipp to Stony Indian Pass in the next year or so. It sure looks like impressive country.
