The West Ridge of Copeland Mountain

The West Ridge of Copeland Mountain

The west ridge connecting Copeland Mountain to the Continental Divide seen from the summit. The ridge crosses the lower half of the picture from right to left. Its lowest point is Cony Pass. Beyond the pass, a short Class 4 stretch allows one to gain the divide. To the far right, along the divide, is Ouzel Peak. The peaks in the background should be Watanga Mountain to the left and Mount Adams to the right. Wild Basin, Rocky Mountain National Park. October 2004.
