Thermal Flying ...an Eagle's eye view of Wintour's Leap

Good morning Summit Poster's

Some of you lovely people may have walked or even climbed around Wintour's Leap by Chepstow, the gem of the Wye Valley with it's spectacular setting, superb limestone, outrageous overhangs and classic climbs for all grades. So here is a North to South aerial tour of the crag featuring the North Wall, Great Wall, Central Bay, South Bay, Go Wall, Woodcroft Quarry + Fly Wall and was recently filmed with my Quadcopter (Arnie the Drone) in the late evening to try and catch that elusive perfect evening light.

The video has just been chosen by UKC (biggest climbing website in the UK) as their featured video, so if interested in viewing this 3 minute short on a lunch or tea break then please use the following link:

There is also a special "I-Spy" prize of a biscuit if you can spot the solitary climber (not me!) rock climbing!
Anyway all constructive feedback or comments welcome, please feel free to share and hopefully it will inspire a few folks to pay Wintour's Leap a visit for a climb....

Cheers and happy climbing

Dave
