This is just a small slice of...

This is just a small slice of the view from the summit of Telescope Peak. A storm had just blown through the day before, and the air was as clear as it ever gets. A few of the major Sierra Peaks are labeled. Cerro Gordo Peak in the southern Inyo range. The Panamint Valley is in the foreground. January 15, 2006.

Yes, you can see the San Gabriels and San Bernardino Mountains, as well as numerous ranges in Nevada and southeastern California.

I spent some time out there recently climbing Whitney,now I need to go back for this!
