| TripoliRick | I had totally forgotten Cobb | |
Hasn't voted | Hi, I lived in Idaho back in the 1970s and without a map, hiked back in to climb Hyndman but on the first try, climbed some obscure peak (the rusty Prince Albert can on the summit indicated that I was the fourth party in 40 years to climb it) only to see what I thought was Hyndman to the east. The next time I went up what I thought was Hyndman turned out to be Cobb. They say third times a charm and I finally made it up Hyndman solo with axe and crampons. Gee, that was over 30 years ago. | | Posted Jul 1, 2008 2:03 am |
