This photo shows the various gullies in the route description, and these are probably the finest snow routes in the entire Uinta Mountains. They usually hold continuous snow through most of July in a normal year and June and July are the best months to climb them. The routes don't go to the highest summit, but from neighboring summits it appears that from the top of the northern-most gully (the one on the right of the photo), it is possible to traverse a short distance to the Northeast Shoulder Route, but I never have done it. The slope to the right of the northern-most butress is an obvious variation of the Northeast Shoulder.

Joseph Bullough took this photo on his ascent of Mount Beulah on 10/09/04--Thanks should go to SP member Joseph Bullough for letting me use his photo rather than my not so great one.
