It's on a route called Ewen Buttress, in the Cairngorms in Scotland. Not really that tough, but an awful lot of fun!

What Grade was the route and were exactly as it looks like a good one to do, was it this season?

Re: What grade?Grade 3, and very reasonable at that, plenty of gear for once. Climbed it on the second weekend of this year during a weekend trip from Bristol.

Re: This is..Thanks for that. On the walk in to this route me and my partner were avoiding putting crampons on and had to cross a short pool of flat water ice. We were half way across when a strong gust of wind sent us skidding across the ice and threw us with a big thud on our faces. we both looked so stupid we lay there unable to get up for laughing for a while.
I wish I could have caught that for my profile photo.
