a heap of stones set up as a landmark, monument, tombstone, etc.

I've always been amazed at the time and effort that has gone into some of the cairns I've run into in the woods. Here are some of the more memorable ones I've come across.

great idea

A great idea for an album. This one should receive many submissions depicting our stony friends (the cairns, of course).
