Three Sisters, Canmore

I took this shot while I was walking my dog on Grotto Mountain in Canmore. It was a late November afternoon and the sun had set below the cloud cover, but was still above the mountains on the other side of the Bow Valley. The result was this beam of light shining through the mist. I had slide film in my camera and the resulting effect was this purple tint to the picture. Photo by Laszlo Hulicsko, November 2003
