I was on the glacier in the basin in August 2007, the entire basin was full and overflowing into the adjacent slopes to the west (right in this picture)), with a small lake in the middle. It wasn't a particularly snowy year. I've heard that the glaciers in the park are retreating but this one seems to be 80% smaller than it was then, so I was wondering when this photo was taken (month and year).
