If you want the hike, start down by the Pinnacles. If you just want to bag this and move along to something better, drive up Olalla Canyon Road, turn right on Tibbets Mountain Road, and drive the primary road until you reach the saddle between Tibbets Mountain and an unnamed highpoint to the northeast. From here, there is parking on the left side of the road, and it's a very short hike to the top- I bagged this in snow so I don't know if there's a trail; it looks like there might be, southwest of where you park. Either, way, it's pretty easy. Beware, this road is very steep with sharp corners; I nearly bought the farm a couple times driving back down in the snow at 2mph in 4WD.

What a climb!
out of bad weather and into 80 degrees blue skies views of alpine lake mountains and flowers. Nice hike when everything else is too much crap to be enjoyable.
