Abandoned village in the Tierras Altas, Highlands of Soria, Spain.
*The villagers left in the 1950s after losing their water supply to the government planted pine trees. The trees were an attempt to stabilize the mountain side. Unfortunately, it caused many villages (including Valdelavilla, which was later restored) to be abandoned.
