Tiger Lilies at Redwoods National Park

Tiger Lilies at Redwoods National Park

Blooming under a canopy of 370-foot redwood trees, Tiger Lilies (Lilium columbianum, and also called Oregon Lily and Columbia Lily) brighten up the forest floor near the Tall Trees Grove in Redwoods National Park, CA. Tall Trees Grove is the home to several of the tallest trees in the world (exact locations of the tallest trees are kept secret to protect the trees). Imaged in July 2007.
